🍂 It’s October, and somehow I’m still finding notes from my husband who left in May. Just sweet little love notes tucked into the ordinary places of life. One was folded in the sock bin, reminding me—“Laundry…it’s the worst…just remember I love you and I’m thankful for all the work you put into our home.”

🌻 The other day, after wearing a pair of jeans all afternoon, I slipped my hand into the pocket to get warm… and felt paper. I smiled before I even unfolded it. Sure enough, it was him again—his handwriting, his thoughtfulness. A note just waiting to be found.

🍁 Six months of hidden notes. Six months of quiet service. No recognition, no spotlight—just pure love. One month is all we have left until he’s back home, but in the meantime… he still finds ways to lift me. He returns like autumn… and I fall every time.

✨ It reminds me of President Nelson’s words: “Service is one of the covenant responsibilities of discipleship. As covenant keepers, we lift the weary and strengthen the weak.” That’s all this is—service in its sweetest form. Pure love, quietly given.
